Accepting new clients from 2026
If you need counselling support now, contact your GP for a referral to a counsellor local to you, or request a Mental Health Care Plan and referral to see a psychologist.When engaging with a counsellor, it is important to verify that the counsellor is accredited with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA),or the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).
